The Wexford Genealogy Organization was formed in May 2002. The purpose of this organization is education and  preservation.

 

Wexford Genealogy Organization promotes education in the areas of sound and ethical genealogical practices, available resources in our area, the benefits of genealogy and family history , and the importance of record preservation. 

 

We do this through seminars, classes and guest speakers. 

This organization promotes preservation of resources by methodically copying and compiling available

information such as public records, offering a depository for records where they will be accessible to the public, and providing emergency plans for endangered records.
